The Hair Addict, Egypt's biggest online hair care community, is organizing a natural hair festival on April 11th. The festival will showcase talks on different curl patterns, product booths, workshops and entertainment. The entire concept is all about owning your hair in its most natural state and combating the stigmas associated with curly hair in the region and within Egypt in particular.

The hair initiative, which was founded in 2016 as a private Facebook group, has now pulled over 300,000 members into a huge social movement all centred around getting women to love themselves, and to invest time and energy into taking care of their natural hair in a sustainable, healthy way.

The festival will feature talks on natural hair by dermatologists, nutritionists and curly hair bloggers. You’ll be able to buy hair products at their various booths, get your hair styled and cut and speak to hair care experts, and even enjoy some snazzy giveaways. Last year the curly godmother herself and author of 'The Curly Girl', Lorraine Massey, was there, and while we're not aware of who's coming in this year, we're still excited for it. And you can do all that while enjoying the special entertainment line-up while your children explore the kids’ area, and capture all the moments with their photo booth set-up.
