You know that dreadful feeling when it feels like the world is ending because you’re trying to load an InstaStory but it takes forever because the network is not being cooperative? Well, we're happy to tell you that all of your InstaStory problems, and so much more, could go down the drain very soon, with the news that Huawei is set to launch a 5G network trial at Cairo International Stadium during the biggest competition in African football.

“Huawei Technologies Company to launch first 5G network services trial in Egypt at the Cairo International Stadium during the period of hosting the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations,” Amr Talaat, Minister of Communication and Information Technology, announced after a meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, and Huawei’s Vice President, Li Jie.

Taking place between June 21st and July 19, this will be the fifth time that Egypt has hosted the championship, which they have also won a record seven times, the last of which came in 2010. All but one of the matches for Group A (which includes Egypt, DR Congo, Uganda and Zimbabwe), as well as several games through the knockout stages and the final.
