Divorce Rates Amongst 25-to-30 Year Olds in Egypt at All-Time High

Egyptian marriages occurring in rural areas were recorded at 59.1%, while urban areas saw rates of 40.9%. Egypt’s total divorce rates increased by 14.7% in 2021 with a total of 245,777 cases.

Egypt’s total divorce rates increased by 14.7% in 2021 with a total of 245,777 cases. When it comes to potential suitors, the majority of Egyptians getting married are between ages 25 to 30. They’re also the group with the highest divorce rates.
