Benha to launch first Veterinary Clinic in Delta Region!

Benha University is opening a pet medicine and surgery hospital.

Set to become one of the few clinics in the Delta region, the university has opened the clinic to train their veterinary students and offer services to all pet owners in Qalyubia, Menoufia and Gharbeya. This small vet includes four internal clinics that specialise in general medicine, surgery, obstetrics and infectious diseases. They are also equipped to treat a variety of animal types to help round out the students' training: they have recently treated animals that you're not as likely to find in a typical pet store, like snakes.

In the short time since its establishment, this vet gets around 10 patients a day, with prices ranging from 100 to 500 EGP. Benha University plans to expand and establish a pet hotel to help make things easier for travelling owners.
