EgyptAir to Resume Direct Flights to Bangkok in June

After a lengthy hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, EgyptAir will resume direct flights between Cairo and Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Starting June 2022, EgyptAir will operate three weekly flights to Bangkok on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Egypt has been a popular tourist destination for Thai tourists, with over 20,000 Thai people visiting the nation in 2019. Around 20,000 Egyptian tourists also visited Thailand that same year, demonstrating a healthy enthusiasm for Thailand's cultural landmarks such as its iconic temples of War Arun, Wat Pho and the Emerald Buddha Temple, as well as gorgeous beach resorts such as Hua Hin and Pattaya.

Travellers who are vaccinated against COVID-19 are able to enter Thailand, as long as they undergo a RT-PCR test on the first and fifth days of arrival.
