Having performed in Egypt for the first time in February, 2019, the South African artist is set to return for a post-Ramadan gig on the Red Sea.
As we inch closer to another summer of uncertainty, there’s been one or two signs here and there that suggest that Egypt’s party scene is, itself, inching closer to some kind of normality - or maybe it’s just wishful thinking. Whatever the case, one event organiser has made its intentions clear and has wasted no time in setting the tone for the summer to come: Venture Lifestyle.
Having already made plenty of noise in Egypt with 2019’s J-Lo concert, Venture Lifestyle is looking to make plenty more on May 14th, when it's set to welcome world-renowned DJ, producer and singer-songwriter, Black Coffee, for a huge gig at Makadi Heights on the coast of the Red Sea. The line-up will also feature Egyptian sibling DJ duo, Gawdat.
With his career stretching as far back as the mid-nineties, Black Coffee is a multi-award winner with a 2016 win at the USA’s BET Awards standing as a highlight. Riding the wave of a recent album release, Subconsciously, this will be the second time the DJ has played in Egypt, following his headline appearance at February 2019’s Sun, Sea and Sound, a collaborative festival between Venture Lifestyle and Beirut's Uberhaus.
