Moroccan Duo WAHM Release 'Another Star' on Get Physical

Moroccan electronic duo WAHM, composed of Hicham Belahmer and Walid Morsaly, recently unveiled their rendition of Stevie Wonder's iconic track, 'Another Star’, through German label Get Physical.

Their interpretation of 'Another Star' birthed a quintessential house mix, marked by vibrant and lively percussion, piano chords and vocal choruses. The track’s colourful rhythmic patterns are carried by electric horns elevating the dance club hit to even more eclectic heights.

Originally hailing from Morocco and currently based in France, WAHM - named after an Arabic term signifying illusion - represents a fusion of their diverse musical backgrounds. Formerly entrenched in the realms of metal and rock, the duo has seamlessly transitioned into a genre-blending style that seamlessly weaves together electronic beats, rock elements and metal influences.

The duo first gained recognition with a noteworthy release on Germany-based label Diynamic Music in 2020, garnering support from influential figures like Solomun, Henrik Schwarz and other heavyweights within the industry.
