This Trip Could Actually Take You to the Discovery of Cleopatra’s Tomb

Cleopatra’s final resting place has evaded discovery for centuries. On this trip, you might have the opportunity to witness the very moment it’s found! Travel design collective The Luminaire is inviting Egyptology enthusiasts to follow Dr. Kathleen Martinez and her team of archaeologists as they hope to make the groundbreaking discovery.

The luxurious experience will see guests hop from The Four Seasons Cairo to its Alexandrian counterpart as they watch the historic dig into Cleopatra’s suspected tomb, as well as a series of cultural excursions to build a full picture of Egypt and its illustrious past.

The trip includes a visit to Giza’s Saqqara site, an exclusive preview of Cairo’s much-anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum, and a private viewing of the Library of Alexandria, all accompanied by Egyptologists and expert archivists to tell you everything you’ve ever wanted to know about the wonders of ancient Egypt.

The main event, of course, is an expedition through recently discovered passageways beneath Egypt’s second city, which Dr. Martinez and her team believe will lead to the tomb of the last queen of Egypt. Guests will navigate the labyrinth of tunnels at the Great Temple of Osiris before they potentially bear witness to arguably one of the most highly-anticipated discoveries in the field.

Be sure to take plenty of pics; there’s no way your grandchildren will believe you otherwise.
