New Minimum Wage for Private Sector Employees Rises to EGP 3,000

The National Wages Council has announced that it will raise the minimum wage from EGP 2,700 to EGP 3,000 for private sector employees this July.

The decision is part of the Ministry of Labor’s framework to reshape the private sector. To this end, the ministry’s policies hope to protect the rights of workers, and ensure that their quality of life is improved.
