New Details of Sherihan Musical "Coco Chanel" Revealed!

Director Hady Elbagoury released new details about his upcoming musical, "Coco Chanel", starring the legendary Sherihan!

Elbagoury discussed how superstar Sherihan is bringing her all to the musical. The iconic Sherihan began acting from the age of 12 when she first appeared in the film "Ketta Ala Nar" in 1978. Sherihan has left an impression on the hearts of the Egyptian public with inspiring performances both on screen and on stage, starring in films like "Kesh Malek" and in plays like "Sokk Ala Banatak". Ever since she tragically stepped out of the spotlight in 2002 and announced her return after a personal battle with cancer in 2016, Sherihan is more than prepared for her comeback to the stage.

"This is the first musical that will raise the bar," Director Elbagoury said. "The quality will be comparable to that of Broadway productions."

With production of the play to begin soon, Elbagoury revealed that "Coco Chanel" will have its script, lyrics and music written by Medhat El Adl, and that it will be produced by El Adl Group.
