Free Checkups for Women in Police Hospitals in Honour of Women's Day

In honour of International Women’s Day on March 8th, the Ministry of Interior has decided that they will be receiving women in police hospitals for free checkups and medicine over the next three days.

The announcement came from Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, and is a part of the larger initiative to activate humanitarian efforts made by the Ministry of Interior as a sign of appreciation towards Egyptian women and their crucial roles in the ministry.

The ministry has also been investing in other social security efforts, such as assisting in transporting elderly women to hospitals and dispatching units to extract civil status documents from the homes of critical patients and the elderly.
