36 Countries Participate in Cairo Arts Fest for Children with Disabilities

The fourth edition of the Awladna International Forum for Arts of the Gifted will be held from March 20 to 26th. Among the 36 participating nations are the UK, USA, Singapore, Russia, Germany, South Africa, and the UAE along with the majority of the Arab world and many African nations.

Many local creatives including artist Amir Salah El-Din, writer Sherif Gad, and Dr. Jihad Amer and others will be attending the event.They will be joined by an array of international contributors that include Italy’s Antonio Menfredia, German artist Monola, and Alma Adrizi from Macedonia.  

An exhibition joining the works of over 250 international artists will be featured during the onslaught of the event, which will be awarding the children’s artistic endeavours in film, theatre, and poetry with the participation of an international jury of creatives joining the countries of Morocco, Palestine, and Iraq along with local ones. 

The event will also host a lineup of workshops on drawing, cinematography, handicrafts, among other disciplines as well as live coaching and singing training. The annual festival, which was founded by Suhair Abdul Qadir, is held under the auspices of President El Sisy, is the biggest event held by the Awladna association every year.
