Forbes Reveals Its List of Biggest Arab Celebrities and Egyptians Dominate It

If you remember our piece on Forbes Middle East Top 10 Female Social media Influencers, then you know we were bitter about the very un-Egyptian results. Except it seems that Forbes has decided to redeem itself because we’re back on top, taking 46 spots on Forbes' list of the hundred biggest Arab celebrities. 

Amr Diab tops the list as number one. Adel Emam follows at number six. Ahmed Helmy, Tamer Hosny, Sherine Abdel-Wahab, and Mohamed Hamaky follow as eleven, twelve, thirteen, and fourteen respectively. Also, Ahmed El Sakka who we haven’t seen since the early 2000s makes a surprise appearance as number seventeen. So, really who cares if Hadia Ghaleb didn't make their list of Top 10 Female Arab Influencers when we make up most of their top 100 Arab celebrities list? Nah, we still care. We're Egyptian and bitter by nature.
