Banks Across Egypt Will Be Closed on January 1st
This decision is a standard practice to allow banks to allocate sufficient time for year-end financial reporting, audits, and other essential tasks.

In preparation for the end of the fiscal year for banks operating in Egypt on December 31, 2023, the Central Bank of Egypt has revealed that all banks operating in the Egyptian market will temporarily suspend work on Monday, January 1, 2024.
Regular banking operations will resume on the morning of Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
