TAM.Gallery Launches Online Art Exhibition to Showcase the Work of Young Egyptian Artists
In their second online art exhibition since the start of quarantine, the gallery, once again, prove that art transcends all walls and boundaries.
Gallery are back to give us another taste of art’s endurance in the face of immense odds through their latest art gallery, ‘Artists of Tomorrow’. In its sixth edition, the exhibition will showcase the works of over 20 young Egyptian artists - this time, over the internet.
The artists include Asmaa Bekheet, Mariam El Mofti, Mohamed Bassiouni and Youssef Sabry. In its 6th edition, the exhibition hopes to honour and celebrate the young artists’ visions and innovative contributions to Egypt’s contemporary art scene. “This annual exhibition highlights emerging Egyptian artists," TAM.Gallery owner Lina Mowafy told CairoScene. "They’re not all necessarily young, but some are under the radar, or new to the scene with great potential to be the next big thing.”
The exhibition – a follow up from the gallery’s recent online exhibition ‘Positive Space’ - will display the works of photographers, painters and sculptors. The virtual gallery will take visitors through a simulated space where they can explore the artwork at their leisure.
‘Artists of Tomorrow’ will run from today, April 17th, at 7PM until May 9th 2020. TAM.Gallery will post a link for the virtual tour in its Instagram bio on April 17th, and all the pieces will be listed and available for sale upon the launch of the exhibition on the gallery’s website at tam.gallery. For further inquiries, you can get in touch with the gallery on Instagram and Facebook.
