UAE Residents Can Now Get Easy Visas From These Six Countries

Whether it’s the Eid al-Adha holidays or summer vacation, everyone in the UAE is checking out their options for the best place to go on a season-long adventure. These six countries are making that decision just a little easier by offering easy-to-obtain eVisas from UAE residents that only take a few minutes to get!

Requirements for these eVisas vary depending on the country. However, all UAE residents must have a valid residency permit of at least three months or a passport with a validity of at least six months to be eligible for these visas.

SAUDI ARABIA

The Saudi eVisa is given to the Gulf Cooperation Council residents (GCC) of all professions, allowing them to stay in the country for up to 90 days. With these eVisa, they can visit the kingdom and perform Umrah anytime during the year, except during the Hajj season.

There are two types of tourist eVisa: multiple-entry one, and single-entry. The multiple-entry visa is valid for one year from the date it is issued, and allows you to stay for 90 days. The single-entry visa is valid for three months with a 30-day stay. You can apply for this visa through Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ visa platform.

JAPAN

The Japanese eVisa is a short-term tourism visa which is valid for three months, and allows UAE residents to stay for 90 days. You can apply for this visa through Japan’s official eVisa platform.

AZERBAIJAN

Aside from the eVisa, Azerbaijan is now allowing UAE residents to also get a visa on arrival when they land in the country instead of applying for it in advance. These visas will allow their holders to have a 30-day stay in Azerbaijan.

OMAN

Oman’s eVisa, which is issued by the Royal Oman Police, allows UAE-based expatriates to have a 30-day stay in the country. However, only GCC residents of approved professions are eligible for this visa.

QATAR

GCC residents of all professions with a minimum of three months can apply for the Qatar eVisa, which will allow them to stay up to 30 days in the country.

ALBANIA

The Albanian eVisa is valid for all nationalities, allowing its holders to stay up to 90 days in the country. Meanwhile, Golden Visa holders in the UAE can get a visa upon arrival to the country.
