Morocco Plans 1.5 Million New Hotel Rooms Ahead of 2030 FIFA World Cup

As Morocco gears up to welcome an influx of tourists, as well as construct the world's largest stadium ahead of the 2030 FIFA World Cup, several of its organisations have decided to seek out the expertise of Dubai-based players across various sectors, including tourism infrastructure and hospitality.

With plans to double its hotel capacity by adding 1.5 million new rooms, Morocco aims to accommodate an estimated 26 million tourists, setting the stage for USD-50-billion-worth of World-Cup-related projects.

Additionally, the rising tourism destination is hosting the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025, an event for which the country is preparing by working on enhancing its infrastructure and tourism offerings, with the help of organisations in Dubai, renowned for their expertise in hospitality and event management.
