Luxury London Hotel ‘The Ned’ to Open in Doha

After binge-watching countless documentaries covering the various ways one can scale to the top of New York’s upper echelons, an untamable fire fuels too many (still viable) shopping escapades and (detrimentally constructive) etiquette classes. With too few neighbouring hotels capable of matching wits with those plaguing our meagre screens, picturesque establishments courtesy of our Western counterparts - such as London’s The Ned - trickle into view in the Qatari capital of Doha.

Having established itself as an emblem for luxury amidst The City of London and St. Paul’s affluent walkways, The Ned takes to Doha to bolster the bustling city’s extravagant repertoire. In the lead up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, hotels of grand stature have fervently expanded to take part in the historic event.

An exclusive members club at its core, The Ned is where parliamentarians of various Hermes hues, socialites, royals and entrepreneurial masterminds gather over sparkling bottles of champagne and discuss the multitude of ways they can change commercial ecosystems. Marking the third Ned branded site, the Ned Doha is set to open its lavish doors in November of this year.

The five-story members’ club and hotel are housed in the former Ministry of the Interior building and provide views of the Corniche shoreline. The 515,000 sq ft building - which was initially created by renowned Lebanese architect William Sednaoui in the 1960s - has 90 rooms and suites, seven restaurants, a health club with a spa, gym, a 30 metre outdoor pool, as well as private event space.

Members of Ned's Club will have access to Millie's balcony with views of the Atrium Stage, a rooftop restaurant, bar, and patio, and more.
