Nestled amidst blue lagoons, shimmering at the foot of the Red Sea’s rugged mountains, El Gouna has long been one of Egypt’s most desirable destinations. The iridescent interiors of the 100-room adult-only hotel are inspired by the sandy ruggedness of its surroundings, laced with a touch of Arabic architecture, all packaged in signature neutral nature-vibes insta-chic.

The rooms – ranging from Standard Rooms to Villas – feel earthy and private, with private terraces, cool ceramics, shades of burnt orange and I-never-want-to-leave linens. Oh wait, for we are not done... more than half the rooms feature a picture-perfect private pool!

There is a desert-style Beach Club which opens onto panoramic views of the lagoon and a leave-your-worries behind spa that is worth visiting even if you can’t bag yourself a room for the night.

The Casa Cook brand - conceptualized as a “community, where like-minded people come to relax, revel, explore and soak up the laid-back vibes” - first gained fame on the Greek islands of Rhodes and Kos before making its way to #Egypt.
