Luxury Boutique Brand Hotel Indigo to Open in Sahel, Sokhna and Cairo
With foundations being drawn up in Sahel, New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed and Ain El Sokhna, all four locations will be open by 2028.
IHG Hotels and Resorts— the hospitality giant behind Intercontinental, Regent, Kimpton, and Holiday Inn - is opening four new locations in Egypt for its luxury boutique brand ‘Hotel Indigo’. With foundations being drawn up in Sahel, New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed and Ain El Sokhna, all four locations will be open by 2028.
Up first is Hotel Indigo Mountain View North Coast, which is opening in July 2024. Not only will the hotel have direct sea views, but it’s also going to include high-end retail facilities. In total, there will be 100 rooms, a spa, health club, pool and 165 sq m of meetings and event spaces.
After that’s opened, IHG is opening the doors to the 200-key Hotel Indigo Mountain View iCity New Cairo in 2026. This location will be geared towards business travelers due to its proximity to the American University in Cairo and will overlook a 15 km corniche.
Hotel Indigo Mountain View iCity 6th of October City will then open in 2028 with 200 rooms, and will house locally inspired dining, retail, and entertainment experiences.
Around the same time, Hotel Indigo Mountain View Ain El Sokhna will open with 150 rooms, an event space, and dining facilities. The hotel will be nestled amongst Sokhna’s mountains and beaches, making it ideal for trekking, fishing, diving and skating.
