Karnak Int'l Hospital will Help Luxor Become a Medical Tourism Hub
The Karnak International Hospital in Luxor, at a cost of EGP230 million, is hoped to help Luxor become a centre of medical tourism in Egypt.

Karnak International Hospital in Luxor is set to become a key destination for medical tourism in Egypt. The Ministry of Health has been making steady progress to gradually implement the universal health insurance system across the nation, which first began its pilot launch in Port Said in 2019.
Karnak International Hospital, which is still under construction, includes 62 beds, six operation rooms and four hotel suites for therapeutic tourism. The entire project has so far cost an estimated EGP230 million.
