England Will Now Recognise Proof of Vaccination from Egypt
Travellers from Egypt to England will be able to use a vaccine certificate to prove their vaccination status, as of October 11th.
As of October 11th, at 4 AM, travellers from Egypt, as well as 36 additional countries, will now have their proof of vaccination accepted when they travel to England. Travellers from Egypt will be able to use a vaccine certificate to prove their vaccination status. If they arrive in the UK before that date and time, travellers from Egypt will need to follow the rules for people who are not fully vaccinated.
The approved vaccines - which must be taken completely at least 14 days before arrival in England - are as follows: Oxford/AstraZeneca, Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna and Janssen. The day in which you take the final dose will not count as one of the 14 days. Formulations of these vaccines also qualify as approved vaccines.
Due to the increase in vaccinations around the world, England has reduced their number of red list countries to seven, namely Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.
