Egyptians with COVID-19 Vaccine to Receive Travel Certificate
As long as you've taken a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine, Egyptians will be eligible for a proof-of-vaccination travel certificate.
During an interview with TV presenter Ahmed Moussa on Sada al-Balad, a spokesperson from the Ministry of Health and Population said that Egyptian citizens who have received their full course of the COVID-19 vaccine will be eligible for a proof-of-vaccination travel certificate. The details surrounding these certificates have not yet been revealed, but they are expected to carry perks that will allow for a smoother travel experience.
As of now, 1.3 million people in Egypt have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Egypt is currently in possession of 5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines from various sources, with another 10 million doses of Russia’s Sputnik vaccine on the way.
