EgyptAir Opens New Flight Between Sharm El-Sheikh & Luxor
EgyptAir will start operating direct flights between Sharm El-Sheikh and Luxor, which will operate weekly at a flat rate of EGP 1800 for a round trip.
For the first time since December 2015, EgyptAir will start operating direct flights between Sharm El-Sheikh and Luxor, which will operate weekly at a flat rate of EGP 1800 for a round trip.
Previously, travelling between Sharm El-Sheikh and Luxor included taking a convoluted route, with a stop at Cairo International Airport to transfer to either city. Now, in a major boost to tourism, the new flight will serve as a connector between the seaside leisure tourism of Sharm El Sheikh and the cultural tourism of Upper Egypt, giving tourists the opportunity to visit both destinations with ease.
Talks are in the works to launch a series of new flights to connect all touristic governorates in an effort to encourage travel within the country.
