Egypt to Conduct Rapid 15-Minute COVID-19 Tests for Intl Visitors

Egypt has begun conducting new rapid 'ID NOW' Coronavirus tests for travellers arriving from countries where new variants of the virus have been detected. Results for the news tests emerge in 15 minutes.

Egyptian citizens and non-Egyptians arriving from countries where new variants of COVID-19 had been reported will then be subject to a medical examination and will still need to provide PCR test results before boarding a flight to Egypt.
