Egypt’s Nour El Nil Tops National Geographic’s List of Best Cruise Ships in the World

Right on the back of the This Is Egypt campaign winning the UN’s award for best tourism promotion video in the Middle East, Egypt has just come at the top of yet another list.

The extravagant Nour El Nil cruise ships; the 16-passenger Malouka and the 20-passenger Meroe, were both featured on the list, according to reports from Egypt Independent.

Both ships run a six-day cruise which starts in Esna, around thirty-three miles south of Luxor, and sails through El Kab, Edfu, Gebel Silsileh, Kom Ombo, before stopping at its final destination in Aswan.

Both ships are top-of-the-range and among the most luxurious stays in Egypt. From the looks of these amazing pictures we pulled from Nour El Nil’s official website, their rooms have mesmerising views of the Nile and its fertile banks.

2017 has been a good year for Egypt’s tourism revival, which saw the highest number of tourists since 2010.
