Egypt was ranked first in Forbes' list of the 27 best places to visit in 2020.
Egypt made it to the top of Forbes’ list of the 27 best places to visit next year. It features Egypt alongside other visually stunning destinations like the Greek Islands, Lille in France, Portugal and the Dominican Republic.
The list was compiled by some of the most influential travel bloggers. Among the famous travellers who picked Egypt was the awesome Lexie Alford, who broke a Guinness World Record by being the youngest person to travel to every country in the world.
Alford elaborated on why she chose Egypt in particular, describing it as underrated because of its one-of-a-kind culture and history. She shared that Egypt is now being given the attention it deserves as the place to be ever since it was ranked the fastest-growing travel destination in the world by the World Tourism Organization. She also expressed her excitement about the Grand Egyptian Museum and made sure to let everyone know that the best way to see Egypt is by taking a Nile Cruise, which we definitely agree with because there's nothing quite like being able to see a new historic destination every day.
