15 New Hotels Are 'Floating' Into Luxor & Aswan This August

In anticipation of an influx of international tourism to Luxor and Aswan throughout August, ie the month where everyone realises their summer vacation is only a few weeks away from ending all too soon, the Cultural Tourism Marketing Committee is raising the number of floating hotels across Egypt from 70 to 85.

It’s not just about accommodating the 40% increase in tourism from countries like Spain, France, Japan, South Korea and the United States in the face of high amounts of standing reservation at hotels this year. It’s also about impressing visitors with an up-close and personal view of the Nile. How many people would turn that down?

Throughout August, Spanish travel agencies will raise the number of flights to Egypt to six per week, while French agencies are increasing them to three flights per week.
