Nike Hosts Activation to Bring Fans to Travis Scott's Cairo Concert

Following Scott's confirmation of his ‘Utopia’ launch concert at the Great Pyramids of Giza this July, Nike's Jumpman announced an exclusive activation for American citizens, inviting up to 23 Travis Scott fans to attend the concert in Egypt for free. Partnering with Cairo's Marriott Bonvoy, the campaign will offer fans the chance to experience Cairo beyond the highly-anticipated concert.

As most Travis Scott fans know, the world-famous rapper has had a close relationship with Nike since his rise to fame in 2018. What began as one collaboration - the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Cactus Jack’ shoes that Scott gifted to his fans - quickly turned into a half-decade partnership with numerous other joint design and campaign projects. After the success of this collaboration, Nike released an Air Force 1 line featuring exclusive colour-ways, and their interchangeable ‘swoosh’ shoes became a revolutionary piece of sneaker history.

The most recent collaboration, unveiled on April 26th, 2023, was the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Olive’ sneaker, which cost USD 150 and aggregated thousands of dollars in resale value.
