Nashwa Jewellery Collaborates with Yasmina Eyad on V-Day Collection

Eponymous Egyptian label, Nashwa Jewellery, has been all about women empowerment since its inception, a value and message they’re carrying with them into the season of love, Valentine’s. Nashwa Jewellery has called upon Egyptian fashion stylist, Yasmina Eyad, to collaborate on a capsule V-day collection focused on encouraging self-love. Aptly named ‘Juliet With No Romeo,’ the collection encourages wearers to find their own Valentine, not just during this season, but every season, by embracing the passion that comes from within.

Presenting the classic heart shape in shades of gold, the Valentine’s collection features a series of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings under an overarching theme of interconnectedness. Scattered with dashes of pinks and reds to capture the romantic spirit of the month, the jewellery is designed to remind wearers that true romance begins from the love found in one’s own heart and spirit. “The message behind the collection is obviously self-love,” Egyptian Jewellery Designer Nashwa Mostafa shares exclusively with SceneStyled. “I wanted to convey the idea that you don’t need a Romeo to feel loved.”

The Egyptian jewellery label’s pieces exude a sensual essence with meticulously designed unstructured configurations of hearts. “Having someone to give you love is never necessary - you can do that yourself; through your passion, through your community. You own your narrative,” Mostafa asserts.

Egyptian stylist and founder of Yazi’s World Yasmina Eyad herself shares with SceneStyled how the feelings of Valentine’s need not be limited, thoughtfully echoing that… “as much as Valentine’s day can be magical with your significant other, spending it with your girls - your community - is an entirely different sort of magic.”

Together, Mostafa and Eyad have envisioned an editorial campaign that celebrates embracing life as a self-loving ‘Juliet with no Romeo,’ and turning to one’s deepest self and closest bonds for romance this season and beyond.
