Kojak Studio Dips Their Toes in Sustainable Swimwear in This New Collab with Nada Adel

Haute couture brand Kojak Studio has just entered the swimwear game with an all-new collaboration with Nada Adel Apparel, which made a name for itself with its exquisite lingerie designs, and is one of the very few local brands who manufacture lingerie locally. The collaborative collection, titled Lounge Swimwear, has a total of nine different swim pieces as well as a number of cover-ups.

“Nada Adel and I collaborated together during lockdown," Mohanad Kojak, designer behind Kojak Studio, told CairoScene. "Venturing into swimwear is something I’ve been thinking about for some time, and with Nada’s know-how we were able to come up with this new collection together.”

The new collection is made in an entirely sustainable way, where the two designers used leftover fabrics from previous collections they’ve released. “The collection is produced sustainably through upcycling remnants of luxury fabrics from Kojak Studio and turning them into a limited edition of festive beachwear," Nada Adel said. "It's perfect for festivals and beach parties."

The end result is a collaboration not just of expertise, but also of vision and aesthetic. “We wanted to mix between my dramatic edge and her sexiness,” Kojak said.

After featuring the collection in a glam shoot at the Nile Ritz Carlton, the full line is now available on www.kojakstudio.com for orders, and on @kojaktheshop through their DMs.
