Deana Shaaban X Tara Emad Collaborative Dress Collection Flows With A Dancer’s Grace

In an airy new collaborative collection between luxury couture designer Deana Shaaban and model and actress Tara Emad, this line of colourful dresses is inspired entirely by the innate human desire for movement. The new loose-fitting garments' shapes look like allusions to the classic kaftan, which is only heightened with an oriental colour palette and prints.
“This collaboration between our design house and Tara was a concept we have been working on for a while," Deana Shaaban told #CairoScene. "These dresses were created as an expression of versatility and movement, to suit almost every occasion and body type in order to support all women.”
Made from Indian silk, satin and georgette fabrics sourced from India, these dresses are a reimagination of versatility, which often veers on being understated as opposed to being truly practical. It’s truly a one size fits all garment, no matter the wearer or the occasion - as Tara Emad demonstrates in this photo shoot. No matter her movements, her dress moves with her.
“One of the main things that characterizes Tara is that she is a dancer, and through the art of dance she is able to explore and go deeper into herself as an actress," Shaaban said. "During this shoot we put on her favourite dance music, and the team took a step back and let her move in whatever way she felt."
