Freedom Music Festival Hits Royal Club Mohamed Aly for an All Day Shindig This Weekend

Egyptian promoters Theatre of Dreams is bringing us yet another one of their Freedom Music Festival parties, but this time in Cairo, instead of Sahel. It will take place at the Royal Mohamed Aly Club venue on the Nile, from 14:00 to 23:00 on the 6th of October, and they’ve promised us lots of shenanigans, like games and activities, a food court catering to all of your heart's desires, and even bartenders that will put on a show (think fire and lots of vodka in the air).

But this isn't just going to be just another notch in their belt, as they assure us that this is more of a 'picnic' than a regular party, which is sure to draw even the most introverted hermit crabs out of their shells! Powered by Flo, Heneiken, and others, they were able to book prominent Deep/Tech House artists Third Son and Henry Saiz who both regularly release on labels Suara and Einmusika and tour across the world. During the day, the decks will be graced by local veterans Hisham Zahran, Sebzz, and Abo Samra who will then hand over jockey duties on to Third son, then finally Henry Saiz.
The purveyor of enchantment, Theater Of Dreams founder Mahmoud Zidan has been able to amass a crowd and carve a place of his own in Egypt's house scene, so it will be interesting to see the progression of the popular party series, considering the different route this edition is taking compared to his previous ones. There is only one tier of tickets on door and reservation is a must, so, ladies and gentlemen, keep your check books handy!
