On this edition of Rap of the Week, we’ve curated our playlist to include the freshest hits by leading MENA rappers, including Lege-Cy’s ‘Fel Galeed’, the last chapter of his latest album ‘Placebo’, as well as Palestinian rapper/producer duo Shabjdeed and Al Nather’s new single ‘Fi Swat’, which delves into darker and melancholic sonic territories with Al Nather’s bedouin percussions on the beat complemented by Shabjdeed’s enigmatic lyrics. The playlist also features upcoming talent Dada, who just released his debut full length album ‘M.I.M’ which has been making a lot of noise in the Moroccan hip-hop scene.
