Weaving through a leisurely neo-soulful beat with her velvet vocals and witty lyricism, Sudanese singer-rapper Nadine El Roubi states who’s king in her new ‘Butcher Freestyle’.
Having a little banter and horseplay with Egypt’s rap scene, El Roubi demonstrates an assortment of talent in the freestyle. Scanning through the scene in her lyrics, she sees a Roubi-shaped throne and declares her claim to it in a nonchalant manner oozing with a self-assuredness that invites those unfamiliar with her to see-and-believe for themselves what the hype is about.
