Dubai’s Groove on the Grass Heads to Desert for Next Dance Festival
From the grass to the sand, some tasty headliners have been announced for February's Desert Groove.
Dubai’s renowned dance festival ‘Groove on the Grass’ will have audiences dancing on different terrain this year with its new location at The Dunes resort in Ras Al Khaimah.
Entitled ‘Desert Groove’, this edition of the festival will take place from February 11th-13th from 4 PM to 4 AM, separated between two stages. The international headliners are set to excite fans of experimental, house, and electronic music with artists like WhoMadeWho, DJ Behrouz, Shkoon, and Dutch DJ Unders announced.
With the location doubling as a resort, audiences have a range of experiences to choose from. Whether it’s humble camping you’re after or a more luxurious ‘glamping’ option, The Dunes offers everything from huts to treehouses to domes - complete with food trucks and a fashion marketplace.
Local acts include Paul Joseph, Somalie, Adam Rahman, Barada, Cataree, Gypsyfunk, Amir Sharara, Jixo & Danz, Josephine De Retour, Maks, Omar Fayyad, Dante, Tarik Omar and more.
