Ahmed El Ruby Releases Hot Summer Track Saa'f El Halawa

You remember him from 2019’s smash hit ‘Sa2fa’, and now after a two-year hiatus Ahmed El Ruby is back with a new summer bop. Marking the beginning of his professional singing career, ‘Saa’f El Halawa’ features upbeat Arabic-electro tunes and bubbly lyrics, accompanied by a music video that’s bursting with bright summer pastels set against an azure Sokhna shoreline.

Once the creative director at Tayarah, an Egyptian creative media hub, El Ruby is making his way out of the backstage and into the spotlight. “At Tayarah, we’re all about creating stellar content and discovering talents,” Co-Founder and Managing Director of Tayarah, Mohamed El Bassiouni, tells #CairoScene. “Ahmed El Ruby is one of our main talents. During GFF in 2019, we produced his track ‘Sa2fa’. Before, he worked as a creative with us at Tayara, writing lyrics and musical compositions for Egypt’s biggest stars. Now, this latest bop is his first song as a professional singer in his new career.”

Ruby’s career promises to grow beyond his one-hit wonder, with no less than four more songs to be released over the next few months.
