Less of a sport, more of superpower of sorts, free-running is at the peak of its popularity and few landscapes are as enticingly challenging to it as the varied, unpredictable landscape of Cairo.

It was inevitable, then, that one of the world’s premier parkour pros, Dominic Di Tommaso of Australia, would find himself taking on Egypt’s capital in this spectacular video.

‘Daredevil Dom’ is a Red Bull Athlete and jumped, spun and flipped his way through Cairo with Red Bull Egypt, going everywhere from the Pyramids, to Khan El Khalili, to the kind of satellite dish-dotted rooftops you can find across any Cairo neighbourhood.
