The Faab Space to Hold Yoga Fundraiser to Save Stray Dogs

Yoga is great for your own health, but would you pull a pose to help save a stray dog's life? Even if they're the really difficult kind where you stand on one leg and bend your spine like so? If the answer is yes, you're in luck. The Faab Space, a yoga studio in New Cairo, is hosting a fundraiser for Unleashed Rescue & Rehabilitation dog shelter! Their special 'Mind, Body & Paw' event invites all animal lovers to join a yoga class by The Faab Space founder Louisiana Faaberg at 5 PM on March 24th (no sign-up needed - it's on a first come first serve basis), where you will also have the opportunity to shop through the 'Save a Paw' products from The Sahara Collection.

"When Karmah, owner of the Sahara Collection, approached me for a collaboration to help animal shelters, it was a no-brainer for me," Faaberg tells #CairoScene. "If I wasn't a studio owner, I would have opened my own animal shelter. Spreading awareness on this issue is something that's very close to my heart."

Unleashed already has a reputation for cultivating a hospital environment for their stray dogs, and they plan on using the funds to keep up with the new cases they bring in. They plan on buying food, medicine and a way to maintain upkeep on the shelter - all the things Unleashed needs to ensure a safe and friendly environment.
