Temperature to Drop 7 Degrees in Cairo With Weekend Cold Spell

Farewell winter! The heat wave has struck Cairenes like a hammer with the threat of sweater weather being gone all too soon. But don’t hang up those jumpers and turtlenecks just yet; the weather is predicted to drop a few degrees this weekend, throwing us back for a brief cold spell. 

If you check your weather app, you'll see that today, April 7th, the weather will only get hotter as the day progresses until it spikes up to 39°C. We recommend you stay indoors with the AC keeping you chill until tomorrow rings around with the promise of calmer heat. 

However, on Friday, the temperature is predicted to drop to 32°C in Cairo, 23°C in the North Coast, and 37°C in South Sinai. From Saturday 'till the end of the week, the weather will fluctuate between lows of 16-17°C to highs of 29-31°C in Cairo. The North Coast will witness lows of 15-16°C and highs of 23-24°C, while South Sinai will see lows of 24-25°C and highs of 33-34°C.
