Songstress Carmen Soliman Spills on Arab Idol, Fame & Her Fanbase

Is Carmen Soliman a fellow doom-scroller? When the Egyptian songstress isn’t in the recording studio or making appearances on Times Square’s brightest billboards, she seems to have time to revel in her online fanbase’s funniest comments.

Soliman rose to fame in 2012, after rising to the top during the first season of Arab Idol. Her soulful voice captivated millions across the Arab region throughout the course of the talent contest, and since then she has been releasing hit after hit including ‘Kalam Kalam’, ‘Akhbari’ ‘Azama Ala Azama’, and her latest, ‘Enta El Aseel’.
