Qena's Nagaa Hammadi Aqueduct Inaugurates New Museum

The Nagaa Hammadi Aqueduct Museum has just been inaugurated in the Egyptian city of the same name, located on the west bank of the Nile River. The museum, as you may have guessed, is about aqueducts. Weird flex but okay.

The museum is home to a number of displays dating back to 1928, the year that the Nagaa Hammadi Aqueduct was built, and has been made to spotlight the importance of aqueducts and water installations in conserving water and utilizing every drop to its fullest potential.

The new attraction displays pictures and paintings during the construction of the Nagaa Hammadi Aqueduct, the surveying tools and equipment used for it, and a number of books dating back to 1915.
