Passport Playtime: The Nile Ritz-Carlton's Ritz Kid's Program Just Got Ritzier

We all reach a point in our adult lives when a stay at a hotel is full of as much joy as the holiday its facilitating – think of it as a growing appreciation for the finer things in life as we mature.

For kids, however, it’s a different story. Much of what we love about hotels goes over their heads. In fact, for them, a stay at some hotels can feel like a chore.

This is why the Nile Ritz-Carlton has put together a brilliant new programme tailored for their young guests – one that will challenge and entertain them. The Downtown hotel already boasts its Ritz Kids programme, but its new ‘passport’ has added another dimension to the fun.

What do they do with this ‘passport’?

Well, this is where it gets interesting. The passport offers its holder a proverbial trip around Ancient Egypt’s history, all within the grounds of the Nile Ritz Carlton and its plethora of activities, which includes everything from lotus flower crafting, to chocolate pyramid decorating classes, to photography sessions at the hotel’s signature Pharaonic walls.

For each completed activity, your little one will receive a stamp which they can turn in for a special prize at the end of their stay. Aside from the passport, however, the Nile Ritz-Carlton has also introduced a bunch of different services for kids, including child-friendly amenities (such as adorable little bathrobes) as well as newly create costumes inspired by the royals of Ancient Egypt, which they can wear for, well, basically everything. There’s even an exclusive and newly-launched bedtime story, King Tut, that parents can read to their kids to cap off their busy day.
