Cairo Runners To Race For Chocolate This Weekend

Just when you thought that Cairo Runners couldn't be a sweeter happening comes news of their Chocolate Run in celebration of their 3rd anniversary. Taking place in Zamalek on Friday January 15th, the exponentially growing Cairo Runners will be celebrating three years of getting Egyptians off the couch and running towards better health. The theme for this run is everyone's favourite treat: CHOCOLATE. Giving runners just a little extra motivation to cross the finish line, Cairo Runners will be handing out chocolate bars to all the participants at the run, which is, aptly, sponsored by Snickers.

The already fun Cairo Runners have solidified themselves as the leading running community in Egypt in only a short three years. Since 2012, they have amassed almost 400,000 members on their Facebook page and continue to keep growing with every passing event. Friday's run is set to launch at 7 AM with the starting line departing from El Sawy Culturewheel.
