Best Break Ups Ever

Seventies’ crooner Paul Simon once wrote a helpful song guide outlining “50 ways to leave your lover.” Plastering it across a giant billboard outside your lover's favourite local bar wasn't one of them – but that is exactly what one Welsh woman did after deciding to ditch her hubby.

The unnamed heartbreaker posted the message “Paul..I am divorcing you” followed by “Btw I'm keeping the dog” using the signage of Noah's Yard cafe and Bar in Swansea.

Here at CairoScene, we thought the stunt a little harsh, especially considering the fact that the woman proposed to her former lover at the same spot just years earlier. In honour of the heartless bitch – we decided to compile our own list of the top five coldest ways to kick your partner to the kerb:

When the time comes to say goodbye sometimes there are just no words to describe the rush of emotion, pain, loss , sadness, – so why not instead lighten the mood with a picture of nature's tallest and most comforting animals...a giraffe. And what better image than that of your former squeeze aloft said giraffe - riding out of your life forever and into the arms of somebody better looking, funnier and ultimately more of a winner than you are or ever could ever be.

It's every girls dream – white wedding, walking down the aisle and this particular female specimen was just moments away from calling her gal pals to go dress shopping – when suddenly her wedding aisle fantasy was replaced by a supermarket aisle in a desperate search for ice cream, tissues and possibly a rebound to help her get over 'that bastard' (because they all are...right?!)

Sometimes at the end of a breakup, the dumpee is left with many unanswered questions...why, was it me.etc - however this woman decided to give her love rat partner a couple of additional riddles to ponder...

However as with all things in life, there are two sides to every story – and Alan Markovitz decided to show his ex-wife, Lea Tuohy, exactly what he thought of their split by moving in next door – and erecting a rather 'prominent' statue facing her home.
