For almost 15 years, jet-setting friend to the stars, Raya Abirached, has dove deep into the weird and wonderful world of Hollywood as the first and only Arab journalist with insider access to the world’s most acclaimed actors, directors and industry figures (“what about your first Oscar?” doesn’t count).

During that time, the Lebanese presenter has carved out quite the reputation for herself, both at home and abroad, becoming one of the most recognisable and popular personalities on Arab TV, particularly for her enduring MBC2 show, ‘Scoop with Raya’.

On a rare, recent trip to Egypt, we sat down with Abirached to get ‘the scoop’ on what she really thinks about her A-list buddies, life in ‘Hollyweird’ and more.
