Google Developer Summit Is Coming To Cairo
If you’re a developer or entrepreneur with the itch to get your product, service, or great game idea better integrated into the Android mobile platform, prepare to get learnt.

Google is looking to boost its reach in the MENA region by holding a Developers Summit at Smart Village in Cairo on December 3 and 4. The summit focuses on Android, its new Material Design, and the Play Games Service. The summit is going to be two full days, the first of which will be dedicated to talks from Egyptian and international Googlers, as well as representatives from Vodafone, WebKeyez, Codly and more, covering bases like how to grow your business online and using Google's Play Games Services to connect your web or mobile game.

The second day will involve three concurrent workshops to help you make your awesome idea the next billion dollar app: Google’s recently acquired app backend powerhouse, Firebase, their Play Games Services, and the major aesthetic Material overhaul. Each will have a dedicated workshop to help you get the most out of them for your app. Since they all run at the same, time you’ll need to make a tough decision as to which workshop you’ll attend.

Several organisations will be setting up booths, most notably the United Nations Development Project, presenting their work on social innovation like their Games for Social Chang" program.

Registration is free but filtered to prioritise attendance - you can take care of that here. Just make sure you bring your laptop and actually have an app that you can integrate into the workshops.
