Egyptian Model and Actress Tara Emad Stars in Global H&M Campaign
The campaign for the fashion brand's 'Conscious Collection' also features Hollywood actresses Rosario Dawson and Naomie Harris.
Egyptian model and actress, Tara Emad, has revealed her starring role in a new global ad campaign by high-street fashion favourite, H&M. The campaign promotes the fashion brand's new Conscious Collection, which aims to also sheds light on the "importance of sustainability, recycling and consciously buying clothes," she said in an Instagram post.
Emad is joined in the campaign by a host of popular figures who also do more than model, including American actress, Rosario Dawson, British actress, Naomie Harris, Japanese singer-songwriter, Beni, French blogger and entrepreneur, Clémentine Desseaux, and Indian actress and women's rights activist, Priyanka Bose.
Born in Cairo to an Egyptian father and a Montenegrin mother, Emad started modelling at the age of 14, with her first photoshoot coming in Lebanese magazine. Layalina. Over the last few years, she has become a fixture on Egyptian mosalsalat and has starred in a host of movies. As a model, she's been on the cover of Elle Middle East and Marrie Claire Arabia, Vogue Arabia and Vogue Italy.
