The Design Studio by Azza Fahmy Launches Jewellery Design Class at AUC

The Design Studio by Azza Fahmy and the American University in Cairo (AUC) are joining forces to introduce a world-class, 19-week course in jewellery design, bringing every facet of the craft into focus, whether it’s to do with the technical side of design, or the intricacies of business.

Starting this month, the programme will be held every Saturday between the Tahrir Cultural Center and the Design Studio in Fustat. The Design Studio by Azza Fahmy will tackle the creative aspect of the course, like how to search for inspiration, how the environment of the fashion industry affects jewellery design, and how to create your own pieces, while the School of Continuing Education at AUC will handle the business side, like how to materialize your talents into a full-fledged business.
