'Metamorphosis' Collection Goes All-In On Kafkaesque Vibes

Dubai-based Egyptian designer, Modii Saad, debuted a collection centred around post-human aesthetics for his brand Ménage 07.

“Metamorphosis was heavily inspired by dystopian aesthetics and digital fashion,” Saad tells SceneStyled, ultimately lending it its postmodern feel.

The ‘metamorphosis’ collection was launched in Superverse, a new initiative that took place in Dubai connecting creatives, entrepreneurs, and artists in the region that are bending the creative industry.The event exhibited designers from across the globe including the extremely talented fashion designer Jack Irving, who worked with Lady Gaga. 

Saad collaborated with creative Migue Leyva, who aided in the cuacuration of ‘metamorphosis’. The brand's new collection encompassed fabrics of synthetic origin, using materials like plastic, leather, pvc and latex to simulate CG textures.
